Composition:
Each Ovule contains: Metronidazole 750 mg, Miconazole Nitrate 200 mg and Lidocaine 100 mg.
INDICATIONS:
Metrocept Plus is used in the treatment of:
- Candidal vulvovaginitis due to Candida albicans.
- Bacterial vaginitis due to anaerobic bacteria and Gardnerella vaginalis.
- Trichomonal vaginitis due to Trichomonas vaginalis and in cases of mixed vaginal infections.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
One vaginal ovule should be used by inserting it deep into the vagina twice a day (morning and evening) for 7 days. In the case of a recent infection: it is recommended to use a vaginal ovule once a day before bed for 14 days.
