Gargle & Mouth Wash
Therapeutics
Antiseptics .

Composition:
Each 15 ml of Alex solution contains:
Benzydamine hydrochloride .............  22.5 mg.
Chlorhexidine gluconate .................   18 mg.
Indications:
Alex is an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug which used for:
- Treatment of recurrent oral ulceration, stomatitis and oral thrush.
- Treatment and prevention of gingivitis. Promotes gingival healing following periodontal surgery.
- Treatment of pharyngitis following tonsillectomy or the use of a naso-gastric tube.
- Treatment of aphthous ulcers and oral ulceration due to radiation therapy.
- Use after dental operations.
- Prevention of dental plaque formation.

Dosage & Administration:
Adults:The usual dose is 15 ml, which should be gargled or  held in the mouth and swirled around for at least 30 seconds at 1.5 to 3 hourly intervals, as needed. 
Children: 5 to 15 ml as a gargle if able to do so, or as an oral rinse. Due to insufficient number of clinical studies, Alex is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Packaging:
Carton box contains amber plastic package of 200 ml or amber glass bottle of 100 ml.
