Each film-coated tablet of AXIREV 250 contains: Cefuroxime 250 mg (as Axetil).
Product Overview
AXIREV is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by cefuroxime-sensitive microorganisms, including:
- Pharyngitis/tonsillitis caused by susceptible strains of Streptococcus pyogenes.
- Acute bacterial otitis media and maxillary sinusitis.
- Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis.
- Uncomplicated urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis and cystitis.
- Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus or Streptococcus pyogenes.
- Early stage of Lyme disease (erythema migrans) caused by susceptible strains of Borrelia burgdorferi.
