Axirev 500 | Film Coated Tablets

Axirev is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by cefuroxime-sensitive microorganisms, including:

• Pharyngitis/tonsillitis caused by susceptible strains of Streptococcus pyogenes.
• Acute bacterial otitis media and maxillary sinusitis.
• Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis.
• Uncomplicated urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis and cystitis.
• Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus or Streptococcus pyogenes.
• Early stage of Lyme disease (erythema migrans) caused by susceptible strains of Borrelia burgdorferi.
