Indications:

Carbocisteine is a mucolytic agent used as an adjunct in the treatment of respiratory tract disorders characterized by thick and viscous mucus, including chronic obstructive airway disease.

Dosage and Method of Administration:

  • 2–5 years: 1.25–2.5 ml four times daily.
  • 6–12 years: 5 ml three times daily.
