Indications:

Carbocisteine is a mucolytic agent used as an adjunct in the treatment of respiratory tract disorders characterized by thick and viscous mucus, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Dosage and Method of Administration:

  • Adults: Two capsules three times daily. The dose may be reduced to one capsule four times daily once the desired response is achieved.
