Dentyl | Film Coated Tablets
Each DENTYL Film Coated Tablet contains:
Spiramycin 750.000 IU and Metronidazole 125 mg.
Product Overview
Indications:
Dentyl is highly effective in the treatment of acute and chronic oral infections such as:
- Oral infections caused by aerobic and anaerobic bacteria sensitive to spiramycin and metronidazole.
- Dental infections such as dental abscesses, aphthous ulcers, pericoronitis, and gingivitis.
- Parotitis, gingivitis, and sublingual infections.
- Prophylaxis before and after oral and dental surgery.
Dosage:
- Adults: 4–6 tablets of Dentyl or 2–3 tablets of Dentyl Forte daily, divided into two or three doses, to be taken during meals.
- In severe cases, the dose may be increased to 8 tablets of Dentyl or 4 tablets of Dentyl Forte daily.
- Children (10–15 years): 3 tablets of Dentyl daily.
- Children (6–10 years): 2 tablets of Dentyl daily.
