Each 1 g of Fucibiotic Dermal Ointment contains:
Sodium Fusidate 20 mg.
Product Overview
Fucibiotic is used either alone or in combination with systemic therapy for the treatment of primary and secondary skin infections caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus species, and Corynebacterium minutissimum.
Primary skin infections expected to respond to topical fusidic acid include impetigo contagiosa, superficial folliculitis, tinea barbae, paronychia, and erythrasma.
Secondary skin infections include eczematous infections, contact dermatitis, and infected abrasions/wounds.
