Each 1g of Getrix Dermal Cream contains :
Gentamicin sulfate equivalent to Gentamicin 3 mg.
Product Overview
Indications:
- Primary skin infections: Impetigo contagiosa, superficial folliculitis, eczema, furuncles, sycosis barbae, and pyogenic gangrene.
- Secondary skin infections: Infected eczematous dermatitis, pustular acne, pustular psoriasis, infected seborrheic dermatitis, infected contact dermatitis, infected skin abrasions, and bacterial infections secondary to fungal or viral infections.
- Jetrix is also used in the treatment of abscesses and infected cysts following surgical drainage to ensure adequate contact of the drug with bacteria. It is also used for infected skin ulcers, superficial burns, paronychia, infected insect bites and stings, and infected abrasions and lacerations in minor surgical procedures.
- Patients with hypersensitivity to neomycin may be treated with gentamicin sulfate. Regular monitoring is recommended for patients treated with topical antibiotics.
