Each Loxy 5 Tablet contains: Benzhexol hydrochloride (Trihexyphenidyl hydrochloride) 5 mg.
Product Overview
Indications:
Trihexyphenidyl is indicated for the treatment of all forms of Parkinson’s disease (post-encephalitic, arteriosclerotic, and idiopathic). It is often useful as an adjunct to levodopa in the treatment of these forms of Parkinson’s disease.
Trihexyphenidyl is also indicated for the control of extrapyramidal disorders caused by central nervous system drugs such as reserpine and phenothiazines.
Dosage and administration:
The dosage should be adjusted individually according to each case (for more information, see the enclosed leaflet).
