Zein 25 | Film Coated Tablets

Zein is indicated for:

• The treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adult patients (aged 18 years and above) whose condition cannot be adequately controlled by diet and exercise alone.
• Reducing the risk of cardiovascular death in adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and established cardiovascular disease.

Dosage and Administration:

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus:

• The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily in the morning, taken with or without food, as monotherapy or in combination with other medicinal products.
• For additional glycemic control, the dose may be increased to 25 mg in patients who tolerate Zen.

Heart Failure:

• The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily.
• The maximum daily dose is 25 mg.
