Alex 100 ml | Gargle and Mouth Wash
Each 15 ml of Alex solution contains:
Benzydamine Hydrochloride ............. 2.5 mg
Chlorhexidine Gluconate .......... 18 mg
Product Overview
Indications:
Alex is an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic solution used for:
- Treatment of recurrent mouth ulcers, stomatitis, and oral candidiasis (oral thrush).
- Treatment and prevention of gingivitis, and promotion of gingival healing after surgical procedures.
- Treatment of pharyngitis following tonsillectomy or the use of a nasogastric tube.
- Treatment of aphthous ulcers and oral mucosal lesions caused by radiotherapy.
- Post-dental surgery care.
- Prevention of dental plaque formation.
Dosage and Method of Administration:
- Adults: The usual dose is 15 ml. It should be used as a gargle or mouth rinse, kept in the mouth for at least 30 seconds, every 1.5 to 3 hours as needed.
- Children: 5 to 15 ml as a gargle, if possible, or as a mouthwash. Due to insufficient clinical studies, the use of Alex is not recommended in children under 12 years of age.
