Care-Zn | Oral Suspension

Indications:

Care-Zn is used to improve appetite, promote weight gain, enhance resistance to infections, and manage other clinical manifestations of zinc deficiency. It is also used in the treatment of diarrhea.

Dosage and Method of Administration:

For the treatment of zinc deficiency:

• Adults: 50–150 mg/day, given as a single dose or in divided doses.
• Infants, children, and adolescents: 0.5–1 mg/kg/day, given as a single dose or in divided doses.

For patients with diarrhea:

• Infants (2–6 months): 2.5 ml/day for 14 days.
• Children (6 months–5 years): 5 ml/day for 14 days.
